City of Alba Gets Approval for Water System Improvement Loan

Alba has a new "Welcome to Alba" brick sign at Broadway and US Highway 69.  Local resident Lloyd Swoape built the sign and menbers of the Iris Garden Club of Golden under direction of Sherry Lindsey and Ann Medlin planted dwarf nandina, blue salvia and sweet patato vines.  Seasonal annuals will complement the permanent plants for eye appeal year-round.
